Phisch's BBQ Sauce

This recipe is sort of from the hip so there are no portions yet.


  • Charlottes (subst: Red Onions)
  • Garlic (finely diced)
  • Ginger (finely diced)
  • Sunflower oil
  • Chili flakes
  • Brown sugar
  • Smoked paprika
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Tomato ketchup
  • Sorchestorshire sauce
  • Dark soy sauce
  • Black pepper
  • Salt


  1. Add charlots, garlic, ginger, sunflower oil, and chili flakes to pan on medium heat. Cook until onions turn translucent.
  2. Add brown sugar. Cook until sugar melts.
  3. Add smoked paprika. Quickly mix into paste.
  4. Deglaze with Apple Cider Vinegar.
  5. Add Tomato Ketchup, Worchestorshire sauce, Dark Soy Sauce, black pepper, and salt.
